"Coming to Immanuel Christian School this year has been a big change for our family. Having to bus the kids in, and new friends, it was not a decision we took lightly. But when it came time to make the final decision, we all felt it was right. Walking into the school for the first time almost brought tears to our eyes. God was here, and we could feel it. We knew this was where our kids needed to be. To see his word on the walls, to hear his name spoken, is not something you see at a public school. At the opening assembly, I was in awe, hearing a room full of elementary kids singing praises to God, along with the parents and teachers. It was a feeling I will never forget. When we are immersed in something daily, we can get to a place of complacency. Being at the public school was not a bad place, but when we considered what influences our children were surrounded with daily, it became something to think about. At home we teach Gods word, and do our best to live it, but that is not enough. If our kids are in an environment daily that does not honour God, they are going to have a hard time standing strong, and not becoming desensitized. We want to instill in them a strong and grounded love for God. To have this opportunity to send them to Immanuel, to have the support of a group of teachers who love God, teaching his word and praying with our kids, is a blessing and a privilege. I pray that it never becomes something we or our kids become complacent about. These impressionable years are short, so thank you so much to each teacher at Immanuel, for partnering with us as parents to raise children who love our Lord Jesus Christ."

"Our family enjoys these schools immensely. From the elementary, to the middle school, to the high school, the staff is caring and willing to go the extra mile for our children. Christian perspectives are taught in each class and how to live the Christian life is emphasized. A variety of sports, music, drama and other option classes are available and they have enhanced our childrens' educational experience. We heartily recommend ICS."

"When we think about what Christian Education means to us as a family, we feel so honoured to be able to send our kids to a school that provides more than education. The students receive all that Alberta Education requires plus the Christian education aspect taught throughout all the classes. We see this in the work they bring home and we love to see their eyes light up in excitement when they tell us about it! Every time we come to the school, I am amazed at the wonderful feeling of community that we get while we are there. We know our children are in good hands and cared for individually. You can definitely see that the teachers are passionate about their jobs, plus they genuinely care for and love the students. Thank you teachers! We enjoy attending the Chapels where not only do the students get a chance to be a part of them, but also the teachers put in the effort to participate as well. This is so nice to see. What we really cherish the most of all is the knowledge our children are gaining on how to live in this world as Christians. We feel truly blessed as we raise our children to be servants of our Lord."
